I was born in 1992 in Vienna but soon moved to Tyrol because my parents founded their own Montessori school there, which I also attended.
I grew up in a family of self-employers and founders, so it has made a big impact on how I plan my life. As my parents moved with me and my two sisters in a farmhouse when I was about seven, I got the space to live out my creativity and imagination, as we had our own forest adjacent to our house.
Mostly, I ran around in a Harry Potter cloak, pretending to be at Hogwarts, while the other half of the time I sat curled up in my room, reading a book or writing another one of my short stories.
Writing has always been a majorly important part of my life and I started writing stories as soon as I was able to write and before that, I would tell them to whoever would listen (and to everyone else as well). Additionally, I loved (and still love) anything remotely related to creativity such as film-making (you can also visit my Youtube channel Whatever Floats You Boat), dress-sewing, drawing (not very well, I have to admit) and, of course, let's pretend games (which, for obvious reasons, I had to stop eventually).
When I finished Montessori school and high school, I went to the university of Innsbruck and obtained my bachelor's degree of English and American Studies before moving to London for a year. There, I finished writing my first full-English novel Do You Have Sugar? (which hasn't been published so far because I am still in the post-editing process) and worked as a full-time nanny, marketing assistant, event manager whilst pursuing my writing and editing. During this year, I also translated the educational book Children Who Are Not Yet Peaceful from English into German.
Upon returning to Austria, I worked as an editor for an educational publishing house for six months before going on a trip through Europe and moving to Vienna to work full-time as a freelance writer and editor.
As of now, I am a freelance writer primarily and tutor children on the side. I have translated various projects for a range of companies and also provide editing services. I have self-published my Christmas short story collection It's Christmas, After All via KDP, which you can find here. Additionally, I have provided other work during my work as a marketing assistant intern and via this link you can find my creative portfolio.
